I hope you find something useful here and maybe I'll see you soon...
Being trained as a Facilitator, a Master Practitioner of NLP, having worked with groups and individuals for over 25 years, I’ve developed some key skills - really listening to what people say, how they say it; observing body language; uncovering and understanding people’s underlying beliefs and motivations – all of which help me to help each person in a way that works for them. I’ve had extensive experience in Adventure Sports leadership, as well as personal development programs
and events in the corporate world. I also work very well in the virtual world, hosting events on many different platforms.
Mindfulness is the practice of having your attention in the present moment
with a clearer mind and the many benefits that provides
for our mental and physical health.
Mind ‘full’ ness is actually the opposite of what we need. Our minds are commonly full of thoughts about work, home, holidays, food, bills etc. whereas what we can greatly benefit from is the opposite, a mind that is less full.
Mind ‘less-full’ ness.
How much would you appreciate greater peace of mind and better health?
I run facilitated mind ‘less-full’ sessions in nature, and you’re welcome to come along. There are exercises to help with our ‘full’ minds that can be practiced at any time, the catch is, when our lives are so busy, it’s very easy to be distracted or just not take the time.
Taking the time to go out in nature for this purpose, shutting off from the many distractions of life and being guided through the process, is of immeasurable benefit. You will also come away with skills and tips for use in everyday life.
How would that be better for you? and who else would benefit?
“I learned a lot and came away feeling a little more empowered”
“I love this idea of using our subconscious brain and never has it been more important to tap into this”
“I felt you held the session beautifully and created a lovely calm, therapeutic actually, and supportive environment.
The pace was perfect. I really benefitted.”
Dr. E. Brierly
"Really enjoyable morning. Perfectly paced to take in the sights and sounds in a unique way. A good chance to focus on the natural world
and the nourishment it gives us.
I don’t often give myself enough time so thank you for your relaxed approach to the session which helped me find some calm today
and hopefully techniques to keep using."
Shema Leith
“Thanks again for yesterday, a really enjoyable and rewarding experience, very well led and paced.
I believe it is a very worthwhile experience for anyone.
And, even as someone who appreciates nature and being outside,
it gave me a new perspective on how to immerse more into the moment.”

"Roger Holmes has come up with an excellent experiential introduction to mindfulness or mind 'less-full' ness as he prefers to call it,
via a 2-hour guided walk through the woods.
The session is very relaxed and meets people where they are, as a beginner or the more experienced who appreciates the value of coming
to experience with a beginner's mind. The walk experience invites participants to connect with their breathing process and the
incoming data from their senses in a fresh and gentle way.
Roger is a sensitive guide, who knows how to facilitate someone's experience and when to get out of the way. The session put me in very pleasant non-verbal state of mind and reminded me the way to find peace within is often not via the thinking process, but by letting go of the thinking process and abiding in free awareness which is innately peaceful.
I would recommend Roger's Mindful Walk in the Woods
to anyone who appreciates relaxation and regeneration."

If I could only recommend one book,
it would be 'The Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle
We spend so much time with our thoughts in the past or the future, as well as being useful and pleasurable, it often creates worry or stress.
This book helps you be more at ease and present,
leading to better decisions in life and a healthier
Mind & Body.
Flying Paramotor's is such an amazing experience, having your own flying machine that fits in a van and you can fly from a field giving you a 'Birds eye' view for miles around. I learnt with Foot Flight Paramotors in Essex if you fancied trying it yourself?
I learnt to Kite Surf in Poole Harbour in 2011 with Easy Riders - it is a perfect location to learn. Being able to ride over the water powered by a huge kite on 24 meter lines then launching from a wave meters in the air all powered by nature is just Brilliant!
I bought a Sit on Kayak some years ago, it fits in the Van, is so easy to use and a great way to be out on the water. If you feel like a work out you can go for it, if you feel like just 'being' on the water then you can lay back and relax :-)
"For several years Roger's strong event management and presentation skills, both in face to face events and virtual, have been an asset to our company. Consistent, professional and always going that extra mile we can always depend on Roger to shine"
"Roger was a great host and everything explained brilliantly and timing perfect, please thank the team for me."
"The event was fantastic, all of the feedback from the team has been extremely positive 😊"
"A seriously efficient and professional team- GREAT JOB!!!"
